On first names terms

First Names Group

After a high-profile management buyout, IFG International had just six months to rebrand its entire business. The business needed to show that its people truly came first. So they were made part of the identity itself – each and every one of them. This was the creative catalyst for renaming the company “First Names Group”. This focus was visible throughout the creative output that was produced including new corporate documents, imagery, brochures, banners and digital assets. I was able to work closely with the Senior Designer and two other Designers to make sure their creative designs were produced quickly, accurately and to the highest standard.
Stationery – As part of the new identity we created letterheads, compliment slips and business cards. I took the initial designs and created versions for each of the eight locations and accurately input all of the details for every employee business card, 319 of them in total! I also artworked folders for each of the locations and ensured they met the specifications ready for print.
Brochure – I refined the design and created the final print-ready artwork. This included preparing hi-res images, updating the copy with changes from the content team and ensuring the alignment of the page layouts were consistent.
Box – We designed a box to house the new corporate documents for the First Names Group employees. I laid out the names and justified them to ensure the spacing was as consistent as possible and prepared the box and the band artwork for print.
Internal documents – I was tasked with creating a variety of internal documents and templates. These ranged from Word and PowerPoint templates to Balanced Contribution PDFs and recruitment advert templates.
Gift book – At the conclusion of the main rollout of the new identity we created a book detailing the collaboration between both companies during the process. It was created as a gift for the client, separate from the work they had paid for. My contribution was to artwork the design, make necessary updates and prepare the final artwork for print.
